In March 2025, an X user puts up a picture of a ginger cat that keeps turning up in their sleep. It never does much. It looks at them with enormous eyes and says one word: “Hi.” They swear they have never met this cat while awake.
For months the picture just sits there as the profile photo of an account named “Hi”, until another user, @azzyazide, scrolls past it and stops cold. Same cat. Same eyes. Same “Hi.” They have never seen it in real life either.
They turn the face into a poster and post it to their followers. Within hours, people start replying that the cat has been dropping into their dreams too. Every one of them calls it THIS HI.
Since March 2025, at least 6 67 people have said this cat has greeted them in their dreams, in cities all over the world: Mumbai, Delhi, London, New York, Toronto, Tokyo, Berlin, São Paulo, Sydney, Lagos etc.
So far nobody has found anything the dreamers have in common. And nobody who has met the cat in a dream has been able to name a real cat it belongs to, although all of them say it looks a lot like the profile picture of @SillyPianist67.
The aim of this website is:
– to help everyone who has been said hi to in their dreams, and to put them in touch with each other;
– to work out who this cat is, and why it keeps saying hi to so many different people in so many different dreams.
